What attracts people to the MBA program at CityU in Prague?
Our students look for a known American degree, one they can study for in Prague. They are mainly attracted by the weekend format, good value for their money, and the good name the University has in the states. Czech entrepreneurs and managers find the hybrid format (combination of in-class and on-line learning) to be the most suitable fit for their busy schedules.

The tuition fees are competitive considering the CityU-Prague’s MBA program competes with 20 other MBA programs in a city of only two million people. There are currently 72 graduates from the MBA program in Prague. Most students conduct thorough MBA school research before applying to CityU-Prague. They don’t choose the school randomly. Students who were asked believe the accredited school had a good reputation and was well known.

What do students like about the program?
Students appreciate the program’s syllabi, which keep the level of quality constant throughout the program. Most find the style of instruction, based on interactivity, group work, problem solving, etc., highly beneficial. The practical experience and real-life examples delivered by the instructor facilitate learning and are a catalyst for discussion among the managers in the group.

American management techniques and skills are considered the best in the world by some of our alumni; they want to know (learn) what the best know.

“The mix of cultures in the class makes it more efficient and fun,” says Afif ben Ali and MBA alumni. “The effectiveness comes from the fact that different countries have different mentality and endeavors. In a class that looks like a flower bouquet, there is more interaction, fresh ideas, and thus more knowledge.”

Last but not least, students and alumni praise a number of instructors and the local administrative staff for taking great individual care and focus.

Has the program contributed to a promotion, career progression?
Students who have undergone the program have been promoted within several businesses, including Allyn International Services, Federal Mogul Friction Products, and Orea Hotels.
